With the weather holding off and the guests waiting eagerly for that first glimpse of the bride, and wedding is one of the most special occasions we have ever had the privilege of catering. With that special moment when the groom turns to see his beautiful bride for the first time of day, everyone can see this was meant to be, and the love the couple share.
With Spitting Pig catered to ensure that the wedding catering was the last thing on the bride and grooms mind, we got straight to work, by serving Canapés as the guests as they entered the reception. With the guests seated, and the entrance of the newly married couple, we attended to the finishing touches of the menu ordered, ensuring that everything was to the couples specifications. As the speeches were underway, we began to cut into the freshly, and locally cooked hog, that had been roasting for the duration of the service.
With the best man’s final joke settling well with the crowd, it was our turn to ensure that this happy couple and joyful guests would be given a feast fit for royalty. As the serving was underway, the crowd were silent as each guest was indulging into the tender and luscious meat. With the deserts being organized for serving as the bride and groom prepared to cut their cake, we could see the site on the face of each guests face, knowing that this was going as planned, the couple were happy and so were all of the guests.
From the sights of each guest’s plate being empty, we could see that the food had gone down a treat, and thus we began cleaning away our equipment and the machine, ensuring nothing got in the way of the bride and grooms first dance. With our machine and equipment being loaded into the van, and the DJ getting guests into the swing of things, it was clear that this was going to be a day no one would forget. As we prepared to depart, congratulating the bride and groom on their happiness, they were never more pleased with the service and dedication we put into ensuring that nothing went wrong with the catering throughout the event, making their special day even more memorable.
