Hog Roast Caterer catered all over the British Isles this weekend from; Southend-On-Sea to Inverness. We cater for anywhere in the UK. So when we had an event in Nelson we were thrilled since that is where the head office is.
We had to cater for a lovely family in Nelson, birthday party for 50 people. They opted for Party Menu 2, Spit Roasted Chicken; Local, Roasted Whole over dancing flames which is served with Piping Hot Delicious Stuffing. Doesn’t that sound amazing, image what it tasted like. That’s exactly what the family thought and decided they had to get a taste since just reading it made their mouths water.
We set up in their lovely back garden which was perfect since it was a lovely sunny day, a hog roast works really well in a hot sunny day yet it works just as well when its winter since a hog roast is a nice winter warmer, filling you belly with hot delicious meat. We first set up our hog roasting machine which roasts the meat perfectly yet it takes a couple of hours to roast to perfection, next we put up our tables with table cloths, napkins and cutlery, then we set up serving station with a gazebo shading the service station so the people getting their food can actually see what they are receiving instead of being blinded by the lovely sunshine. We carved and butter our soft rolls so the guests could put some of the roasted chicken into a bun to make a delicious chicken sandwich, after we put two bowls of fresh piping hot stuffing on the serving station ready to be placed on the plates.
After a bouncingly good time on the trampoline and gaming inside the children were coated outside for dinner. The parents and our chefs helped the children though picking what they wanted, then after the kids were settled the family where 3 generations were gathered all to enjoy a wonderful birthday party, came up received their plate and sat down. The look on their faces was pure delight as the roast chicken was neatly placed with the stuffing beside with one or two rolls on the side. It wasn’t before long the guests were coming up for more of our amazing spit roasted chicken and stuffing.
Nearing the end we placed what was left of the chicken on a planter and began to pack up, before we left we got a big thank you from all the children as well as the family. We love catering for lovely family and make their day extra special with something we love doing.
