The first hog roast of another busy week

Good morning everyone!  Its Monday the 7th of March and its a great day for a hog roast job!  It might only be early March but we have been treated to a nice sunny day which is great as we have a special outdoors hog roast event this afternoon.  More often than not Monday is a quiet day for catering jobs and its often spent recovering from a hectic working weekend or helping out in the busy office so it makes a refreshing change to be preparing to cook a hog roast on a Monday.  It’s a local job as well just five minutes away from the hog roast caterer depot at a primary school.  They are celebrating their spring fair and there will be a raffle, tombola, bring and buy stall and most importantly a classic hog roast provided by us.

We will cook, carve and serve our tasty hog roast to 200 hungry pupils, teachers and parents.  We will be serving the succulent hog roast in fresh, soft bread rolls with home made apple sauce and home made stuffing, so simple yet so satisfying!  We have worked with this school before catering at various events for them so it will be great to go back and see some familiar faces and catch up over a pork sandwich!  Of course with the sun shining and the warm weather its looks set to be a great day.

So time to get going and cook yet another pig to perfection for yet another happy customer.  Chow for now Hog blog readers.
